“ I was in the area looking for places to eat, and The Lucky Dog came up as a place with the most stars and positive reviews. The atmosphere and lighting is very comforting. Its not the biggest place, but it does have a home feel. They have a large selection of wines, cocktails, and of course domestic beers. My food was very hot, and cooked to my liking. The bartender, Zak is exceptional at his job. He knew the appetizers, specials, and desserts off the top of his head. He joked with customers and checked on us without being overwhelming. If youre in the area, be sure to visit The Lucky Dog you will not regret it. ”

Zak the bartender was engaging, attentive and made great drinks! It was our first time dining in have gotten takeout plenty of times and we are so happy we chose Lucky Dog to spend our special occasion! Everything was wonderful. ”
“ Absolutely five stars! I stumbled across this jewel while trying to find a local place that served oysters. I was not expecting this level of dining. We were greeted immediately And although we did not have a reservation, the hostess was very friendly and looked into finding us a table. Luckily, there was one available and our adventure was on its way. The atmosphere was upscale but cozy and welcoming. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone working looked like they loved their job and their knowledge of the food and drinks exceeded my expectations. My food was hitting every taste bud I had and although I was full, I couldnt stop until it was all gone. The Lucky Dog Cavern is a must and I recommend anybody that is in the area to stop by and say hi. And dont worry, if you dont know what to eat, they can pair anything together. Thank you for an amazing experience! We will be back again. ”

“ Place is small but well worth it. Its best if you make a reservation and they allow you 90 minutes to eat. The food was impeccable, service was splendid and the atmosphere is cozy. Definitely will go back again. Great for take out orders as well. All their dishes looked and smelled amazing as the servers passed by. I would stop the waitstaff and ask whats that dish and whats that dish. So hard to choose! We split the raw bar seafood platter as an appetizer. He had surf and turf topped with real lobster meat with veggies. I had the filet minion topped with sea scallops and shrimp, potato baguette and asparagus. Cooked to perfection. I could not have been more satisfied. Thank You Lucky Dog!! ”

“ This was our first experience with Lucky Dog Tavern. Weve been living in the area for several years now and, for some reason, have never heard of this place. One step through the door, and we were immediately greeted by an incredibly warm and friendly host who addressed us like we were longlost friends. Our meal started with some of the most delicious and inventive cocktails that complimented the cozy atmosphere. Our waiter, Brayden, was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. At no point in the meal did we want for anything. His command of the hospitality craft rivals, and in some instances, exceeds that of some of the most expensive resteraunts weve patronized around the world. I ordered the braised short ribs, and my husband ordered the Ossobuco. Both dishes exceeded our expectations to a great degree and, under a notuncommon light, could easily pass itself for art . For 2 people who have traveled the world eating our way through some of the finest resteraunts, I can not praise them high enough. FUN FACT Rhode Island doesnt currently have any Micheline Starred resteraunts, but I wouldnt be the least bit surprised if this place, one day, was awarded one. ”
